I hope everyone has had a productive week! As we head into the weekend, I'd like to share a few updates and highlights from around the Town of Black Brook.
Construction on the Narrows Road Culvert Replacement Project is well underway and progressing nicely. We appreciate everyone's patience as this important infrastructure improvement continues. Please continue to use caution when traveling through the work zone and follow all posted traffic signs to help keep both the traveling public and construction crews safe.

Renee would like to remind residents that the JCEO Food Pantry is available to eligible households. To receive assistance, applicants must meet the income guidelines and provide:

Renee would also like to extend a thank you to Fred for building the new Community Cares Shelves closet. She would also like to thank our generous community members for their continued donations.
The Community Cares Shelves offer clothing and household items to those in need. If you or someone you know could benefit, please stop by and take a look.


This week, we are proud to recognize David Plumadore, a Town of Black Brook resident and a proud member of the AuSable Valley Central School Class of 2026.
Congratulations, David! Your hard work, perseverance, and dedication have led you to this significant milestone. As you begin the next chapter of your journey, may you continue to pursue your goals with confidence, determination, and pride. We wish you every success and happiness in all that lies ahead.

On behalf of the Town Board and our entire community, I would also like to extend heartfelt congratulations to all members of the Class of 2026. Whether you are graduating from AuSable Valley Central School, Saranac High School, Peru High School, Saranac Lake High School, or any other school throughout the North Country, this achievement is something to be incredibly proud of.
Graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. As you move forward into college, the workforce, military service, trade schools, or whatever path you choose, remember that your communities are proud of you and are cheering you on every step of the way.
