Responsibilities

The Water/Sewer System Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and supervising the Town of Black Brook’s water supply, water distribution, and wastewater collection (“water/wastewater utility systems”) field operations, which includes all activities related to the design, installation, inspection, repair, operation, and maintenance of the Town’s water/wastewater utility systems, including wells, pump stations, reservoirs, pressure reducing valve stations, water and sewer mains, services, water valves, fire hydrants, and all other related infrastructure. They make recommendations for additions to the water/wastewater utility system approved products list.

The billing for water/sewer is handled by the Clerk to Supervisor, Jessica Douglass, and customers are billed four times a year. For billing questions, Jessica may be reached at 518-647-5411 Extension 1.
