AuSable Valley Central School District – Mr. Michael Francia, Superintendent
Renee and the Town of Black Brook would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the generous couple who continues to donate bread each week for local families. We would also like to thank everyone who has donated clothing, household goods, food, and hygiene products. Your generosity continues to make a difference in the lives of many throughout our community.
JCEO's Ride to Thrive Program is designed to assist individuals who have secured employment but do not have reliable transportation to get to and from work. Transportation can often be one of the biggest barriers to maintaining employment, and this program helps provide solutions for eligible participants working toward self-sufficiency.
JCEO also continues to offer assistance to eligible households struggling with utility expenses. If you or someone you know needs help with heating, electric, or utility costs, JCEO may be able to connect you with available assistance programs and resources.
For more information about the Ride to Thrive Program or available Utility Assistance Programs, please contact Renee at 518-647-5411 ext. 3.

This week, we are proud to recognize three outstanding members of the Class of 2026 from AuSable Valley Central School.
Hayden's mother shared the following message:
"He is a charismatic caring hearted smart young man who enjoyed playing football throughout school from kindergarten until his senior year. He has plans on starting work with a concrete company out of lake placid and is also graduating cv-tec on Tuesday where he went for heavy machinery for two years."
Hayden, congratulations on reaching this important milestone. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment throughout your school years have prepared you well for the future. As you graduate and begin your career, your community is proud of all that you have accomplished. We wish you the very best in all of your future endeavors and look forward to seeing all that you achieve.

Jaycee's mother shared the following message:
"As a parent I am beyond proud of the young woman she has become. Her dedication to inspiring the youth to love sports even after an injury changed her path. She went from a dedicated athlete to a coach. Her love of the games never ceased. Her resilience allowed her to leave her mark on the next generation."
I am proud to say that I have had the opportunity to watch Jaycee grow up within our community and through youth sports. I am also proud to share that Jaycee has been an incredible asset to our Youth Commission Basketball Program. Last year, she coached our 3rd and 4th Grade Girls Basketball Team, where she demonstrated strong leadership and built meaningful connections with her players. This past season, she stepped into the role of Basketball Program Coordinator and continued to make a positive impact on our youth.
Jaycee, your leadership, dedication, and resilience will take you far. I have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great things, and we wish you nothing but success in all of your future endeavors.

I have also had the privilege of watching Aubrey grow within our community and through athletics. I had the honor of coaching Aubrey during her varsity basketball career and can personally attest that she has one outstanding three-point shot.
More importantly, Aubrey is a leader, a team captain, a supportive teammate, and a great friend to those around her. She consistently demonstrated character, determination, and sportsmanship both on and off the court.
Aubrey, thank you for being such a positive role model for younger athletes in our community. We are proud of everything you have accomplished and wish you the very best as you pursue your goals and dreams.

Congratulations to Hayden, Jaycee, Aubrey, and all members of the Class of 2026. Your hard work, dedication, and achievements have made your families, school, and community proud.
As always, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to keep our community informed. I hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable, and relaxing week ahead.
