This week's Photo of the Week proudly goes to Regina Brousseau!
On behalf of the Town Board and our entire staff, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks and appreciation to Regina for the beautiful handcrafted patriotic wreath she recently created and generously donated to the Town Office.
Beautifully displayed at the entrance to Town Hall, this stunning wreath is truly a work of art. Featuring rich red, white, and blue colors along with a commemorative centerpiece celebrating 250 Years of American Freedom (1776–2026), it serves as a warm welcome to everyone who visits Town Hall while honoring this historic milestone in our nation's history.
What makes this gift even more special is the thought, care, and craftsmanship that went into creating it. Regina has an incredible talent for making beautiful handmade decorations and is always thinking of others. Throughout the years, she often surprises our staff with thoughtful, handcrafted gifts that brighten our workplace and remind us how fortunate we are to live in such a caring and generous community.
Thank you, Regina, for sharing your incredible talent with the Town of Black Brook. Your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated!
If you love handcrafted décor as much as we do, be sure to stop by our Labor Day Craft & Vendor Fair, where Regina intends on showcasing many of her beautiful handmade creations. You're sure to find something special!

As we celebrate this Independence Day weekend, I hope everyone has the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends, attend one of the many wonderful events taking place throughout our communities, and take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we are so fortunate to enjoy as we celebrate 250 years of American independence.
Please celebrate safely, look out for one another, and have a fun, relaxing, and memorable holiday weekend.
I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our volunteers, first responders, Town employees, community organizations, local businesses, and residents who work every day to make the Town of Black Brook such a wonderful place to call home. Your dedication, generosity, and community spirit continue to make our town stronger.
As always, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your Town Supervisor, and thank you for giving me the privilege of keeping you informed each week about what's happening throughout our community.
From my family to yours, have a safe, healthy, and Happy Fourth of July!
Supervisor Jon Douglass
