The Town of Black Brook would like to extend our sincere thanks to lead organizer Robyn Pray and her volunteers for continuing their annual tradition of placing flags on veterans’ graves at Town of Black Brook cemeteries, including Black Brook Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fairview Cemetery, Holy Name Cemetery, and Black Brook Presbyterian Cemetery.
Their dedication and volunteer efforts help honor and remember the brave men and women who served our country.
Please understand that, on occasion, a veteran’s stone may unintentionally be missed during flag placement. If you notice a veteran’s grave without a flag, please know this is never intentional.
Extra flags have been left at Fairview Cemetery, Holy Name Cemetery, and Black Brook Roman Catholic Cemetery for community members to place if needed. The extra flags can be found near the water spicket.
If you are unable to locate extra flags, please contact our office at 518-647-5411, Extension 1, and we will be happy to ensure a flag is placed.
