The Town of Black Brook is pleased to announce that the Boil Water Order issued for Water District #2 on June 1, 2026, has been officially lifted.
Following the temporary loss of system pressure caused by a backup generator malfunction, the Town completed all required water quality testing. Two consecutive satisfactory water samples were collected, and the Clinton County Health Department has authorized the removal of the Boil Water Order.
Water District #2 customers may now resume normal use of tap water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and all other household purposes without boiling.
We appreciate the patience and cooperation of all residents throughout this process and thank our Water Department staff for their efforts in restoring service and completing the required testing.
If you have any questions, please contact the Town of Black Brook Water Department at (518) 569-5410.
